Paul Ross, the man-in-charge for product marketing of System Center Service Manager, has just announced that due to current beta feedback, the product will not ship until the first half of 2010!
Needless to say this is a huge blow to the System Center community that has been largely viewing Service Manager as the “glue” that would bind the rest of the System Center family.
Personally speaking, while I value Microsoft’s commitment to getting it right the first time, I am very disappointed that I must know delay my customers with this product release even further.
You can read Paul’s full explanation on the System Center Team Blog.
