USMT GUI – A free program for Migration of Users and data

Features:
- Simple backup of userdata from Windows 2000 SP4, XP and Vista.
- Restore to XP and Vista and also restore Vista backup to XP (making a Vista to XP downgrade easier than ever!)
- Selection of what filetypes to migrate and where to restore.
- Possible to generate and use customized Config.xml file.
- Script builder that creates the scripts needed for automatic migrates.

I required some more objects than just files so I have created a similar offering to a HTA interface and you can now edit exiting templates. Please visit http://simonjarvis.customer.netspace.net.au for an enhanced USMT GUI XML Builder that you can test out. This offers additional objects such as destinationCleanup, environment, detect and many more Microsoft USMT XML elements that can be used in building and modifying existing templates. Create complex rule sets via a simple GUI created entirely in c++.
