As a 14-yr veteran of Information Technology with an exclusive focus on Systems Management, Duncan McAlynn, is the Director of Partner Alliances for Secure Vantage Technologies, and lives in Texas. Duncan is a contributing editor to several books, magazine publications, and websites as well as a popular presenter at many Microsoft events. These activities have led to him receiving the Microsoft Most Valuable Professional award for 6 consecutive years. Hi folks!

I’m Duncan McAlynn, your guide on the journey to better understanding the System Center technology solutions from Microsoft. As a nearly 15-year veteran in the field of Information Technology, I’ve been privileged to work with some of the most widely known companies in the world. This broad background has given me the ability to scale solutions from the small-to-midmarket size, all the way up to the global Fortune 2000. Information posted here will likely run the full spectrum.

When not writing online articles, editing others works or publishing my own, I design and deploy System Center solutions. In my spare time (what little there is) I enjoy spending time doing things like Geocaching, kayaking, and just being outdoors – typically listening to live Texas music.
